More than just a name, Second Cousin operates on the belief that everyone deserves a seat at the table, access to shared resources, and support to achieve their creative goals. The challenge was to create a visual identity that celebrated collaboration over hierarchy and inclusion over exclusion. A brand that reflects momentum, progress, and nostalgia while stepping boldly toward a more equitable future in entertainment.
The logo features two retro TV characters moving forward side by side, representing shared storytelling and the evolution of entertainment. The playful TV mascots each have their own personality, adding energy and humor to the brand. Grounded by bold, confident typography, the mark reflects Second Cousin's mission: building a system where creativity is valued and fairly paid.
COLOR + VOICE
The vibrant color palette brings personality and consistency across all touchpoints. The brand voice is welcoming, confident, and fresh, with occasional playful industry references that feel clever and relatable to entertainment professionals.
